Vancouver launches third corridor on 112th

As project signs went up, volunteers hit the street with signs to get the word out about Vancouver’s latest traffic safety corridor on 112th Avenue, which includes Chkalov Drive and Gher Road.

According to WSDOT, there were 534 collisions on the 3.6-mile stretch of road between November 2005 and October 2008. Eleven of these collisions involved fatal or serious injuries and 44 were alcohol related.
